Purchased at the 2006 Keeneland September Yearling Sale

Northern Dancer on both sides of his sire’s and dam’s family.

Hollywood developed a lung condition and the Partnership decided retiring HP from racing in 2008 was in his best interest.  Hollywood Pegasus has since gone on to start a productive career in Hunt/Jump competition.

Fusaichi Pegasus (Sire)


Fu Peg won the Kentucky Derby, Wood Memorial (G1), San Felipe (G2), Jerome H.(G3); and was 2nd Preakness. Fu Peg sold for $4,000,000 in the Keeneland July Yearling Sale. He’s owned by Coolmoore Farm and currently stands for $75,000 at Ashford Stud in Versailles, KY.

Leading 2nd-crop sire of 2005; nine 1st-crop SWs; sire of 28 stakes horses in first two crops to race; and 14 juvenile winners in 2005—including five stakes horses.

Fu Peg is by Mr. Prospector. Mr Prospector is by Raise a Native. Mr. Prospector’s offspring include Gone West, Gulch, Forty-Niner, Seeking The Gold, and Fusaichi Pegasus. He died June 1999, buried at Claiborne Farm.

Fu Peg’s mom, Angel Fever, was sired by Danzig. Danzig topped US general sires' list from 1991-93. He is the sire of Breeders' Cup winners Lure, Chief's Crown, War Chant, and Dance Smartly. Danzig is the leading sire by stakes wins in N. American history. Highest Average Earnings Index.

Danzig’s sire is the great Northern Dancer. Northern Dancer won the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, Queen's Plate Stakes, Florida Derby, Flamingo Stakes, Blue Grass Stakes, Remsen Stakes, Carleton Stakes, Coronation Futurity, and Summer Stakes. He also came in second in the Cup And Saucer Stakes, and Vandal Stakes; and third in the Belmont Stakes. Northern Dancer was Champion 2YO colt in Canada in 1963, and Champion 3YO colt in the US in 1964. He is widely regarded as the #1 sire of the 20th Century.

Fu Peg Inbreeding

Inbred to Native Dancer on both his sire’s and dam’s family. Native Dancer’s Race Record: 21 – 1 – 0 in 22 starts, earning $785,240. He won the Futurity S, East View S, Hopeful S, Saratoga Special, Youthful S, Grand Union Hotel S, Flash S, Preakness, Wood Memorial, Belmont, American Derby, Arlington Classic, Dwyer S, Gotham S, Withers S, Travers S, Metropolitan H. Finished 2nd in the Kentucky Derby. Rated the #6 race horse in the 20th Century by Blood Horse. One of the most dominant sires of the 2nd half of the 20th Century.

Inbred to Nearco on both side of his sire’s and dam’s family. Nearco is one of Frederico Tesio’s famous stallions. In 1938, Nearco won the Derby Italiano Gr.1 (ITY), 2000 Guineas. Gr.1 (ITY), 1938 Gran Premio di Milano, Grand Prix de Paris Gr.1 (FR) 3100m, Criterium Nazionale 1200m, Gran Criterium (Italy) 1500m, Gran Premio d'Italia 2400m, Premio Chiusura 1400m, Premio Emanuele. Filiberto 2000m, Premio Parioli 1600m, and the Premio Tevere 1600m. He is the sire of champions Neartic & Nasrullah, thus the point stallion for the Northern Dancer and Bold Ruler lines.

Angel Fever is inbred to Almamoud by her grandsires, Northern Dancer and Halo. Halo was the leading sire in America in 1983 and 1989. He sired 1983 Kentucky Derby winner Sunny's Halo and 1989 Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner, Sunday Silence. Also sired Devil's Bag, Glorious Song, and Saint Ballado. Sunday Silence became the world's leading sire by earnings for almost a decade. Saint Ballado was N. America's leading sire in 2005, with Saint Liam and Ashado.

Was purchased at the 2000 Keeneland Breeding Stock Sale for $65,000. Her race record is 2 – 2 – 0 in 11 starts for which she earned $73,080. She was sold in the 2005 Keeneland Breeding Stock Sale for $50,000. Our Runner is her first foal.

Hollywood Princess is by Tomorrow’s Cat. Tomorrow’s Cat won $516,000 in 15 starts. He was sired by Storm Cat. Storm Cat is the perennial leading sire in North America, including 2000 and 2001. His $500,000 stud fee is the highest worldwide. Storm Cat is sired by Storm Bird.

Hollywood Princess’ dam is Starring Monique. Starring Monique is by Risen Star. Risen Star’s race record is: 8 - 2 – 1 in 11 starts earning $2,029,845. At age two, he won the Minstrel S.; 2ND Sport of Kings Futurity. At age three he won the Preakness S. (G1), Belmont S. (G1), Lexington S. (G2), Coors Louisiana Derby (G3), Lousiana Derby Trial S.; he was second in the Lecomte H.; and he finished third in Kentucky Derby (G1). He was the 1988 Eclipse Champion Three Year Old. Risen Star’s sire is the great Secretariat.
